Micro & Glow Dermabrasion is a combined skin resurfacing and light-based therapy treatment designed to improve skin texture, clarity, and overall tone. The treatment focuses on controlled exfoliation followed by LED light therapy to support skin renewal while maintaining skin integrity and comfort.
Each appointment begins with a skin assessment to determine suitability and tailor treatment parameters. Dermabrasion is performed using a gentle mechanical exfoliation technique to remove superficial corneocyte build-up and refine the skin surface. This process assists in improving the appearance of dullness, uneven texture, and congestion, while preparing the skin for subsequent treatment stages.
Following exfoliation, LED light therapy is applied. LED technology is non-invasive and is used to support skin recovery, reduce visible redness, and encourage cellular activity associated with skin repair. Treatment settings are selected based on skin condition and tolerance to ensure a conservative and appropriate outcome.
The combined approach allows for improved skin smoothness and luminosity without aggressive resurfacing or extended downtime. Skin may appear brighter, more even, and refreshed following treatment.
An optional moisture infusion mask containing multi-weight hyaluronic acid may be added to support hydration and barrier function. This mask is designed to replenish moisture levels and assist in maintaining skin comfort following exfoliation. Optional add-on: Moisture infusion mask (+$20) |
Micro & Glow Dermabrasion is suitable as a standalone treatment or as part of an ongoing skin maintenance program. It may be appropriate prior to events or as a regular resurfacing option, subject to individual skin assessment.
Pre-Treatment Note:
Some peel formulations require the use of prescribed or recommended home care products prior to the appointment to ensure skin readiness and optimal outcomes. This will be discussed during consultation where applicable.
Post-Treatment Care Disclaimer:
Following treatment, mild redness or sensitivity may occur and typically resolves within a short period. Clients are advised to avoid direct sun exposure, active skincare products, heat-based treatments, and exfoliation for a minimum of 24–48 hours. Daily use of broad-spectrum SPF is recommended. Individual responses may vary, and specific aftercare advice will be provided at the time of treatment.
