Micro-Hydrabrasion is a combined resurfacing treatment that improves skin texture, clarity, and overall appearance through controlled exfoliation and chemical skin renewal. The treatment is structured to address surface congestion, uneven texture, and dullness while maintaining skin integrity and tolerance.
Each appointment begins with a consultation to assess skin type, current skin condition, treatment history, and tolerance to exfoliation. This assessment informs the selection of both the Micro-Hydrabrasion settings and the chemical peel formulation to ensure the treatment remains appropriate, conservative, and safe for the individual.
The treatment commences with Micro-Hydrabrasion, a mechanical exfoliation process using water-assisted suction to remove superficial dead skin cells and surface debris. This step supports deep cleansing, pore refinement, and improved skin smoothness while preparing the skin for the subsequent peel.
A customised chemical peel is then applied, selected based on skin condition and treatment goals. The peel works to further refine texture, promote cellular turnover, and improve overall skin clarity. Application time and strength are carefully controlled to minimise irritation and support predictable outcomes.
Throughout the procedure, skin response is closely monitored. Techniques and products are selected to reduce unnecessary stress to the skin while delivering effective resurfacing. The treatment is performed in a controlled clinical environment following professional standards of care.
The intended outcome is a clearer, smoother, and more even-looking complexion. Skin may appear brighter with improved texture and reduced congestion. This treatment may be suitable as part of a regular skin maintenance program or prior to specific events, subject to professional assessment.
Contra Indications
This treatment is not suitable for clients with sensitive skin, active acne, rosacea, compromised skin barriers, or those currently using isotretinoin (Roaccutane). Suitability must be confirmed during consultation.
Post-Treatment Care Disclaimer:
Temporary redness, dryness, or mild peeling may occur following treatment. Clients are required to follow post-treatment care instructions, including sun protection and avoidance of active skincare products, to support skin recovery and reduce the risk of adverse reactions. Individual responses may vary.
